Took my learnings from the fellowship and founded Saltwater Stories, a project development agency in the climate and justice space, and Studio Saltwater, a branding, web, and marketing studio.

Moved to India for SBI Foundation’s Youth for India program.
The YFI program is focused on rural development and partners you with an NGO and a village to serve. I worked in Rajasthan with Seva Mandir, which you can read about further on my blog.

Lived in Seattle, a beautiful city, for my first few out-of-college years.

Took advantage of the beautiful Pacific Northwest by trying to be outdoorsy. I’m now decidedly an indoors cat but you can count me in for glamping.

Founded Shakti, a social impact organization for women of color.
Led What The F, the first and only publication for women at the University of Michigan.
Interned in Shanghai at Emerging Strategy, a boutique consulting firm that provides strategy solutions for global companies to expand into emerging markets.
Published various popular personal essays and opinion pieces.
Made friends with people changing the world (who inspired me to do the same) & took part in student activism.
I was the Commencement Speaker at my International Studies graduation ceremony.
…and before all that…
I was born and partially raised by the rice fields and palm trees of lush southern India, a beautiful province called Andhra Pradesh. My father is from the small agricultural town of Kadapa and my mother is from the stunning sea-side metropolis of Visakhapatnam, which makes me equally comfortable taking care of newborn lambs and sipping cocktails on a rooftop bar. Grâce à my father's profession as a software systems analyst, I grew up all over the world, mainly India, Ireland, and the US.
I have continued this tradition of rejecting stillness as I travel and call the entire world my home.
